Computer problems
Software errors, missing settings, slow systems and the everyday problems that stop work getting done.
BUSINESS IT SUPPORT
For businesses that want an experienced person to take ownership of the problem, but don’t need an outsourced IT department permanently waiting on standby.
A FAIRER SUPPORT MODEL
Traditional managed IT contracts can make sense when a business needs continuous monitoring, strict response commitments and proactive administration across a large number of devices.
But many smaller businesses simply want capable help when something goes wrong, a change needs to be made or technology is getting in the way. That is where Highway fits.
Software errors, missing settings, slow systems and the everyday problems that stop work getting done.
Mailbox setup, password and sign-in problems, Microsoft 365 administration and account changes.
Connection faults, modem configuration, weak coverage and help separating an nbn problem from a local one.
User accounts, email, programs, phones and computers prepared so people can get started properly.
Hosted phone changes, extensions, call routing, voicemail and related service issues.
Independent research and practical recommendations before money is spent on unsuitable equipment or software.
REMOTE-FIRST SUPPORT
When the internet is working, secure remote-support software can let Highway see what you see and work through the issue with you. It is often faster and less disruptive than waiting for an onsite appointment.
If the internet itself is offline, call us. We’ll work through the equipment lights and connection checks by phone.
Open the remote support page →Call or email with the symptoms, who is affected and anything that changed recently.
Some questions or a quick check may be enough; larger work is discussed before we proceed.
Where possible, we investigate and come back with the fix or a clear recommendation.
HONEST ABOUT THE FIT
Highway is best suited to small businesses that value experienced, personal assistance and are comfortable with support being arranged as needed.
If your organisation requires guaranteed round-the-clock response times, a large onsite team or constant monitoring under a formal service-level agreement, a larger managed-service provider may be a better fit. We would rather be clear about that than sell you the wrong arrangement.
GOT A TECHNOLOGY PROBLEM?
You don’t need to diagnose it first. Explain what you are trying to do and what has gone wrong, and we’ll help work out the sensible next step.
