with the Privacy Act 1988.
Personal Information
When joining Highway, information such as your name, contact details, operating
system and billing preferences were collected. This information is necessary
for us to provide a quality service and support. We will not disclose any
personal information without your expressed permission, unless required
by law as a result of a subpoena, warrant, court order or other legal process.
We do not
monitor which websites you visit or view written communications such as
emails, news articles or chat rooms. We do not not look at or read any
written communications unless it is necessary to resolve a technical issue.
In almost all cases, we will clearly inform you of the need to do so,
and we will seek your permission before opening your mailbox on our servers.
Whilst Highway
undertakes all reasonable steps to protect your personal information,
sending and receiving information over the Internet is always at your
own risk. No guarantee can be given that information sent over the Internet
is completely and 100% secure.

in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information
or personally sensitive data through communications services, such as
chatrooms, communities, instant messaging, or other services provided
by Highway or third parties, this information may be collected and used
by others. Highway encourages you to review the privacy statements of
websites you choose to view so that you understand how those websites
collect, use and share your information. Highway is not responsible for
the privacy statements or other content with respect to any third party
websites.
Updating
Information
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information
which we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
You can access some of the personal information (such as contact details)
that we hold about you by logging in to our website. You will need your
username and password do to this. Updates to your information can be made
over the telephone to Highway Customer Support. As a security measure,
you must correctly answer the verification of identity questions before
any customer personal information is revealed or discussed.

information, sending and receiving information over the Internet is always

Information Security
We take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the personal information
that we hold. This includes appropriate measures to protect electronic
materials and materials stored and generated in hard copy. You should
be aware that the Internet is not a secure environment. If you use the
Internet to send us information, including your email address, it is sent
at your own risk.
Children's
Privacy
Highway takes all reasonable steps possible to ensure that Internet
access accounts are not provided to children under 18 without parental
consent or the consent of a responsible adult. To the extent Highway is
able to determine the age of users by their communications with our website,
Highway will not knowingly:
Collect information from individuals under the age of sixteen without
their parent's or guardian's consent, or provide any personally identifying
information collected from children, regardless of its source, to any
third party for any purpose whatsoever. Children's privacy is of primary
concern to us and Highway recommends that children should always ask a
parent before sending any transmission over the Internet. Highway
also recommends that parents supervise all child access to the Internet,
or implement filtering technologies to limit or prevent access to unsuitable

to Protect your Privacy
Never offer credit card details in a chat room, via instant messaging
services or in any other IRC environment.
Highway undertakes all reasonable steps to ensure the privacy and
safety of children using the Internet. Your children's privacy is very
important to us, however the best way to ensure their safety is to supervise
their Internet usage.
In compliance with the Broadcast Services Act 1992, which requires
all internet service providers to provide access to an approved content
filter for customer use, Highway recommends the use of We-Blocker
, a free internet filter of which a download link is featured on our website.
Always close your browser and log out once you have finished surfing
the Internet to prevent other people gaining access to your information
and correspondence.
Highway has no control over other web sites we may link to, and
takes no responsibility for the conduct of these companies. Always read
the Terms and Conditions when using other web sites.
Keep your passwords and account details secret. If unauthorised
access of your account occurs, please inform us immediately.
Beware of posting personal information in public forums such as
Internet chat groups or newsgroups. If you voluntarily disclose personal
information, it may be collected and used by others.
Call
Line Identification
(CLI)
In compliance with clause 7.2.3 of the CND Code, Highway customers should
be aware that when dialing up and logging into our server, we are receiving
your CLI or the number from which you are calling from. Should you not
wish your CLI revealed, you have the option of dialing a Blocking Code
or placing a Permanent Line Block on your phone service. Please contact
your phone supplier for more details. Highway ensures its customers total
privacy in regards your CLI. It is only used for the purpose of controlling
access to our server and fraud prevention, and under
no circumstance, will it be passed on to other parties without your expressed
permission, unless required by law as a result of a subpoena, warrant,
court order or other legal process.
Complaints about Content
In the event that a customer wishes to make a complaint regarding the

Exceptions and Limitations
Notwithstanding the terms contained in this policy and in compliance with
applicable laws, Highway cooperates fully with state, local, and federal
officials in any investigation relating to any content (including personal
or private electronic communications transmitted to Highway) or purported
unlawful, defamatory or libellous
activities
of any user of the Highway site/services. For the limited purposes of
accomplishing such cooperation and measures, and in compliance with applicable
laws, Highway may be required to disclose personally identifiable information.
